John Petrowski

John Petrowski is a name associated with health insurance. He is the owner of Maryland Health Plans, a medical and dental insurance company. He founded the Independent Health Insurance Agent Association (IHIAA) with the purpose of training and uniting other insurance agents in the country. He is also the president of Agent Navigator, a free training ground for all health insurance agents.

But it is not only in health insurance that John Petrowski’s name is popularly associated with. He is also being accused of being a fraud and a liar. Whenever he is in need of a telemarketer, he makes an advertisement through the Craigslist or his website. And he makes the ads so attractive so that when people see it, they are prompted to apply for the position.

All applicants are easily accepted to work with Maryland Health Plans owned by John Petrowski.  If you want to join his company, you need to apply and wait for his call. When he does, a schedule for interview will be set. Once accepted, you will sign a contract of employment. Your weekly rate will be stated in the contract along with payment of bonuses if you turn out to be productive and successful in buying health insurance leads.

The newly hired personnel start working, so inspired by the promises of good pay and bonuses and other benefits. However, they soon realized that the pays and bonuses are just that:  promises that did not materialize.  They got nothing to compensate for the hard work they did for the company. All they got are tons of reasons and new schedules of payment. Time came that their calls and emails were left unanswered. Most of the time his voice mail is on, telling the caller that he got many problems at home and the IRS.

The employees got fed up with John Petrowski that they decided to file legal complaints against him and his company. Some of them were favored with court decision and were paid with amounts that they deserve. They are calling the attention of all people who became victims of this man. If he owes you money in the form of unpaid salaries and bonuses, do not hesitate to bring him to court. If you do not do this, he will just continue to victimize unsuspecting telemarketers and insurance agents.

Some agents say that IHIAA, an association of health insurance agents, should also be investigated. The reason is that it is suspected of using some tactics to recruit new agents, charging each one $20 per month for some kind of training.

John Petrowski is a fraud. He makes money for himself at the expense of his telemarketers. He is full of lies and excuses and promises. The only good thing about him is that he admits that he owes you your salaries. And he stops there. He does not face up to his obligation and does not fulfill his end of the employment contract. Do not work for this man. He will give you nothing except problems, headaches and financial worries.
